Grade 5 Camp

Grade 5 Camp

Our Grade 5 campers are enjoying their time at Sovereign Hill. There have been many activities with highlights including two mine tours, panning for gold, education sessions, the Blood on the Southern Cross light show and Christmas in July celebrations. They have represented our school exceptionally well! They return with a new appreciation of how fortunate we are to live today rather than in the 1850s.

Chloe’s trip to Japan

Chloe’s trip to Japan

Mayor Tony Dib was at our school to make a presentation to Chloe. She is one of only six children chosen to represent Australia at the 29th Asian Pacific Children’s Convention in Japan! The Mayor presented Chloe with an engraved Maroondah Shield and gifts to present to the Convention’s hosts. We know Chloe and the other representatives will make us all very proud. Good luck, Chloe!

Garden Club

Garden Club

Our Garden Club crew do some amazing things! They have recently been installing garden edging donated by the Kelly family, back filling the garden bed, watering and making space for the new delivery of soil.
Thank you to all of our wonderful Garden Club volunteers!

Canberra Camp

Canberra Camp

Our Year Six students are enjoying the opportunity to explore Canberra. There is so much to learn, see and do!

Japanese Day

Japanese Day

A hugely successful Japanese day. It was wonderful to see so many creative costumes and many smiling faces. The students enjoyed learning about Japanese culture and participating in each of the activities.

Buddies

Buddies

Wonderful weather for a Teddy Bear’s picnic! There was lots of excitement as our Foundation and Year 6 Buddies ventured to Wyreena for lunch and to participate in a series of fun games.
