Outdoor Assembly

Outdoor Assembly

It was with great excitement that we were able to take advantage of the glorious weather on Friday and hold our first outdoor assembly welcoming our parents onsite. The sun was shining, the excitement was palpable and our youngest school members; the Foundation students joined us for the first time. It was also their first awards assembly where across the school, class and Specialist awards were given out for attitude and effort while using a Growth Mindset to improve.

We are hoping that we can continue with this format; while the warm weather continues anyway. Please monitor on Compass.

Thank you to our community members for coming to the assembly- it was great to have you with us.

Foundation and Year 6 Buddies Teddy Bears Picnic

Foundation and Year 6 Buddies Teddy Bears Picnic

It was excitement plus at our annual Teddy Bear’s Picnic recently. Our Year 6 and Foundation Buddies enjoyed various picnic games such as egg and spoon races, tunnel ball, parachute, vortex and sack races. We were thrilled with the level of participation, respect and sportsmanship demonstrated throughout the day. After all of the activities the students enjoyed a picnic and some relaxation time with their buddy.

Foundation PMP

Foundation PMP

One of the exciting programs that our Foundation students participate in once they have had time to settle in is PMP. PMP is a gross motor skill program that supports students to improve their balance, hand- eye co-ordination and teamwork skills. We are lucky as not only does our Phys Ed teacher Mr McDonald run the program with the support of our Foundation teachers but our Foundation parents have the opportunity, and put their hands up to support. A great time is had by all.
