Foundation Growth
I had the opportunity and absolute pleasure yesterday to teach one of our Foundation classes for a period of time and boy, did their growth blow me away. Their ability to follow and implement routines, their concentration to complete tasks after getting themselves organised and even their understanding of language such as alliteration and syllables when completing a phonics task was extremely impressive. Their happiness to be back at school and learning was obvious through their huge smiles, and some of them were also pleasantly surprised to see people they knew when Mr Moore brought through a tour for next year.
Their progress is a credit to them, their teachers and their families for the collaborative nature of their early school experience.
